San Juan La Laguna: This tiny pueblito is home to cooperatives that produce traditional textiles, paintings, weavings and everything is hand made, conserving multiple techniques from the past, this is one of the reasons why is easy to fall in love with this less visited village around lake Atitlán, discovering one of the very few places in Guatemala that still produce their own cotton and here is kept the Mayan process of yarn and dyeing with natural ingredients.

Beyond all these little details, San Juan la Laguna offers a more authentic one on one, with a peaceful atmosphere that embraces you and make you wish to stay forever.

Santiago Atitlán is famous for the house where the saint Maximón or San Simón resides, the most worship character that was result of Conqueror and Conquered ideology fusion, being an excellent example of the Guatemalan syncretism. An extraordinary expression of faith, is very important to keep a cultural perspective and respect for the different ways to demonstrate their own vision of worship. In Santiago Atitlan we will take lunch break.

Tour includes ground/water transportation and an experienced guide.
